Master classes are the heart of your learning and education at Studio One. They provide the opportunity to really slow down and learn something profoundly new about your body. Every master class is carefully designed to help you get several "ah-ha" moments.
What Do I Wear to Class?
There is no fashion police at Studio One! Wear anything that you feel comfortable moving in. We recommend avoiding baggy shorts as you'll be laying on your back. Bare feet are okay, but grippy socks are even better!
What Do I Bring?
NOT REQUIRED, JUST RECOMMENDED.
For Mat classes, please bring a mat, a towel (for under your head) and a small ball. If you have 2lb weights, a fitness circle, or a flex band you are also welcome to bring those, but they are not required for you to be successful in class!
We will provide the Reformer and Chair for those classes, however if you have Reformer loops we highly encourage you to bring your own. Should you forget your pair, we do have clean ones you can borrow for your class!
How Often Should I Go to Class?
We recommend coming to VASIE Pilates classes 2-3 times a week as you are getting started.
Ready for more? Do a combination of in-person & online classes up to 5 times a week! we highly recommend walking throughout the week as week to help your body integrate the changes you'll make in the workouts.
Can I Still Do My Other Workouts?
Of course! If you are doing another workout, such as weight lifting or cardio on the same day as VASIE try to schedule pilates for after that workout.
Ideally you should continue your other workouts and activities and you'll see better results from them with the addition of VASIE Pilates!
